Cardamom Hills
The hills adjoining Kumily and Thekkady are known as Cardamom Hills, where the best of cardamom is still grown. Do visit a spice plantation in the region to breathe in its aroma or better still visit a weekly cardamom auction in Kumily or Vandanmedu for its sheer excitement.

Ambadi has hosted many distinguished guests ever since its inception. Most of them have left with fond memories of the place and the hotel and some of them have come back again.
